you want safety when you travel, but you don't want to give up your "personal freedom" or be" inconvenienced" in any way whatsoever because, after all... "i'm an american"... god-damn-it!!!

get over yourself... these security measures, and some way more *imposing*, have been the price of traveling in other parts of the civilized world for a really long time... machine-gun-toting-uniforms have been patrolling airports in germany since i can remember...and no one complains.

why? or rather why not?

grow the fuck up!!! it's the world we live in... the sugar coated days of pillbox hats and "father knows best" are gone... that era is over... 9/11 proved that in a very big and painful way... you are welcome to strip search me... under one condition; don't let the guy next to me who actually fits the "profile", (i know what you're thinking, but that's another argument)... walk through untouched because he's raising hell and pleading his rights...

i have rights... you have rights... we have the right to travel safely... and if that means a few inconveniences and maybe a little personal embarrassment; just deal with it.

you think "profiling" isn't P.C... well then get ready to be treated equally and drop your pants.
